♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :;      he  couldn’t  help  the  laugh  that  escaped  him  upon  her  pointing  out  she  doesn’t  mind  the  process  of  making  a  baby.  " my  thoughts  exactly. “  jinsol,  better  than  anyone  else,  knows  that  he  would  love  it  too.  hanjae  also  grew  to  realise  how  simple  daily  interactions  are  very  important  for  their  relationship,  to  keep  it  healthy.  ” yeah,  it’s  a  little  unbelievable  but  i  like  the  idea  of  us  being  a  family… “  his  voice  faded  as it  hit  him  like  a  ton  of  bricks  -  why  did  he  not  think  about  proposing  first?  that’s  most  likely  another  thing  jinsol  would  love.  knowing  her  she  probably  dreamt  of  something  romantic  like  that  so  he  has  to  grant  it  for  her. / @wistfulreality​

     ♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :;     he  snorted  at  the  way  she  went  along  with  his  own  joke.  one  of  the  many  things  he  loves  about  jinsol.  upon  the  next  question,  he  thought  for  a  moment.  “ i  don't  know.  maybe  have  it  happen  when  it  happens?  i  mean,  if  we  are  actively  trying  and  you're  checking  every  now  and  again  with  your  hopes  up  but  the  test  turns  out  negative,  that  would  stress  you  out.  we  don't  need  that. "  he  tried  to  reason,  not  wanting  for  jinsol  to  feel  pressured  or  anything  of  that  sort  and  only  elongate  the  process.  ” let's  not  have  it  as  a  fixed  idea. “

hayes eyed his companion and was at a loss of words. for multiple of reasons, one being the fact that somehow despite all that was wonky and strange with the entire world she somehow could still positives. naturally he didn’t expect her to know his own main issues, not something he would share but also she was suggesting on still improving despite being very confused. that was clear as water. it made a smile appear on his face, for the sheer fact that minyoung still wanted to sprinkle on a little bit of happiness even though she had zero clue on anything. the blonde simply shook his head “the one thing you can do is just make sure i have the last two great minutes with you, ok?”

       ♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :;         he  did  expect  her  to  say  that  she  has  always  wanted  kids.  jinsol  just  seems  like  the  kind  of  woman  to  want  a  family  unlike  how  he  was  before  having  a  change  of  heart.  “ i  suppose  that  you  would  have  scared  me  away  with  that  if  you  mentioned  it  before  but  now.. ”  he  paused,  grinning  at  her  sweet  gesture.  he  reached  to  cup  her  face  and  moved  even  closer,  leaning  down  to  pepper  her  face  with  kisses.  “ i  no  longer  see  having  a  child  as  a …  burden  or  as  something  that  will  hold  me  down.  you’re  my  person  and  i  don’t  want  anyone  else  so  there’s  no  reason  to  run  away  from  it  and  fear  it.  you  can  say  i’ve  matured. ”  he  adds  jokingly.

hayes tilted his head to the side while he looked at the female. being a tad bit taken aback when he heard minyoung respond the opposite “well, i wish could have had your luck like that because the world has been all upside down” he replied with a chuckle as he shook his head. “now who said i was avoiding the question?” he questioned as he quirked an eyebrow, leaning against the wall as he crossed his arms in front of him.

              ♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :;                  “ i  guess … the  way  cap  found  out  he  has  twins  and  he’s  catching  up  with  them  right  now  made  me  realize  it’s  nice  to  have  kids?  the  way  he  talks  about  one  of  the  twins  who’s  a  baseball  player.  obviously  they  practiced  together.  or  the  other  one  who’s  joining  our  team  starting  next  week?  it  baffled  us  all  honestly. ”  if  it  was  someone  else,  hanjae  wouldn’t  have  thought  about  it  but  it  being  their  captain  really  rubbed  off  on  him.  the  stories  he  heard  and  seeing  the  happiness  written  all  over  the  man’s  face  -  pricceless.  “ i  want  you  to  think  about  it.  don’t  say  you  want  it  just  because  i  talked  about  it,  yeah?  it’s  not  a  joke  carrying  a  child  and  giving  birth. ”  that  much  he  had  learned  during  his  time  as  a  firefighter.

               ❝ i have to say you’re someone. stranger danger, right? ❞ noelle says with a laugh. she feels her phone vibrate in her hand and her gaze is on it immediately, but as expected, it isn’t gaz. it’s one of her friends calling his a useless bastard in support, and questioning why noelle even kept him in poppy’s life. she ignores the last part, typing out a quick response before shoving the device in her back pocket. ❝ poppy knows the way, don’t you, kid? ❞ she asks her daughter with a smile, and it’s all she can do to stop herself from being dragged out the door by a very determined toddler. ❝ guess we’re off then, ❞ she says, another laugh falling musically from her lips, her free hand passing junsu a set of keys. ❝ you couldn’t lock the door for us, could you? ❞

      “ i’m   sorry   to   hear   that,   stella.   it   must   have   been   traumatizing   for   sure.   at   least   your   mother   was   fine   after   that   and   nothing   horrific   happened. ”   though,   it   must   have   kept   them   on   their   toes   for   a   while.   apparently,   it   still   lingers   at   the   back   of   stella’s   mind   that   someone   would   try   to   break   in   and   possibly   harm   her   in   the   process.   it   makes   sense   now.   “ well,   you   can   stay   at   my   place   for   a   while   if   you   want. ”   he’s   not   home   majority   of   the   day   though   but   his   dog   is.

hayes for a second, wanted to make a joke of finding minyoung near by the snacks and drinks but he held back on that. he didn’t want to end up with a plate of food ontop of his head. not a fun way to end the new year now would it be? it was now a little secret he had on trying to find minyoung, when in doubt one should check where food would be. “well, you don’t think this year wasn’t one that was filled with getting kicked to the gut one after the other?” he questioned wiht a life “if not, then tell me how did life not end up sad?” he questioned, subtly avoiding to answer the question she gave him

               ♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :;                     “ it’s  days  like  this  that  make  me  feel  like  our  job  wasn’t  done  well  and  we  didn’t  give  the  maximum  effort  but … we’re  also  just  humans.  we’re  not  the  heroes  people  might  view  us  as. ”  they  all  make  mistakes  that  could  cost  the  lives  of  others  or  their  own.  or  both.  it’s  a  double-edged  sword.  hanjae  sighed  heavily  once  he  heard  the  words  ‘you’re  home’.  he  truly  felt  at  home  with  jinsol  by  his  side.  if  he  was  alone,  he  might  have  gone  to  drown  his  feelings  at  a  bar.  although  he  hated  having  to  burden  her  with  these  stories  too.  “ i’m … i  appreciate  that  you’re  here,  that  i  have  you.  i  don’t  want  to  upset  you,  make  you  carry  my  own  burdens  but  it  really  does  help  when  you  listen  to  my  ramblings.  thank  you,  babe. ”  his  hold  around  her  tightened  a  little.  he  wasn’t  planning  to  let  go  for  a  while.  “ i  just  want  to  stay  like  this  for  a  while,  can  we? ”

꒰   * ｡ ˚ . ✧   ꒱    he  felt  comfortable  in  her  place,  he  had  grown  to  know  it  over  the  past  few  years.  to  some  degree,  it  was  like  a  second  home.  “  yeah,  it’s  comfortable..  like  home.  honestly  yura,  i  don’t  care  where  we  go  as  long  as  i  get  to  be  with  you  and  yujin,  and  he  feels  comfortable.  that  is  top  priority.  ”
