Sansa Stark went from a spoilt naive little girl to one of the smartest and strongest characters one the show. She spent years sitting back taking everything in, Learning to make decisions with her head instead of her heart and playing the game without anyone realising her potential. She gained power and support using her own intelligence with no need for threats or violence. She’s becoming a better, more capable leader than more experienced people who have been in positions of power for years. Sansa Stark has had the greatest character development I have ever seen and no-one can convince me otherwise.

Donna and Ten’s relationship is possibly one of my all time favourites, both in Doctor Who and just media in general really. Their relationship was strictly platonic but still so deeply loving. Remember, Donna came after Rose (who romantically loved the doctor), Jack (who romantically loved the doctor) and Martha (who romantically loved the doctor) so Donna was technically the first NuWho companion to not have a crush on him. They were just best friends, and this allowed them to have such a strong bond and hold trust in one another - Donna didn’t feel like she had to prove herself as such because of this. The banter between them was also fantastic - Donna was definitely a comedic character, but at the same time, through her own sensitivity she helped the Doctor improve too for example - when she convinced the Doctor to save Caecillius and his family instead of leaving them all to die in ‘The Fires of Pompeii’. She taught them saving one is better than none, and I think that is a sentiment that really stuck with the Doctor. Together they were just an absolutely amazing pair, and really portrayed a beautiful friendship that didn’t turn into romance, breaking that forming pattern in DW.
