′ yea. i went to one but i don’t remember which one and they weren’t completely horrible but it was pretty good. or maybe i’m confusing that with a place in italy, i don’t remember. ′

tooru rolls his eyes, not wanting to believe that hajime didn’t understand. “because the aliens aren’t from earth, so it can’t have all the information about earth like google has.” he says it like it’s the most obvious thing ever. “are you counting on me not being around for something?”

“I can’t say I’ve tried it before, American or otherwise.” Marie explained, looking over at the other. “What is it?”

“That’s..interesting and quite hard to pronounce, but anyways! Do you know how to make your own?”

yuuji knows he’s the seen the other (he remembers their teams playing during the interhigh semifinals), but he didn’t really expect to see him here in america. he recovers quickly, though, and sends the other a grin before speaking. “you could try making it yourself. most places here that sell japanese food are actually terrible.”

“America has awful ageda-what now?”

′ we never really ate japanese kinda food back home. is there any ‘round here that ya deem okay?? ′

“No offence taken!” Then again, Undyne had only been in America for a few days. It probably wasn’t directed at her. “But what the HELL is ‘agedashi tofu’?”

“I’ve never heard that second to last word, nor have I had tofu so I have no idea what it’s like. Therefore I can’t be offended. Tofu sounds sort of gross anyway.”

′ i never really liked tofu back home much anyways so i don’t know about it here. americanized japanese foods aren’t that amazing but some are. ′
