"Thank you, I can say the same to you George, It’s not everyday I meet someone as kind. "
Considering normally she got a more negative greeting from people.
"I’m going to go ahead and guess, you’re a postman yes?" Mary asked with a smile, hair brightening.
"Ah, yes! You have that correct, miss!" He responded, nodding his head in agreement. Not that it was hard to miss, anyway, since the envelope symbol on his uniform was a dead giveaway. Still, George appreciated the small bits of interaction. "Do you have an occupation, miss?"
Silvia: -I sit infront of you and smile- Hehe, is there anyone you trust?
George hesitated for a moment. Who could he trust during these troubling times? Trusting other Second-Planers was a gamble, since recent events have made their actions rather unpredictable. There was no clear-cut answer, even for him.
"Well... hm... I trust my coworkers! I mean... I have to, right?" He laughed nervously, not quite sure if he meant what he said.
She stared dumbly at their shaking hands, well that was…unexpected. How did he know she was holding her hand up and not down by her side? It was uncomfortably odd. “Uh right, I’m not sure how lost I am” She said, “Maybe you can tell me what world I’m in?”
This was already starting to get strange and not the normal kind either. Still this George did sound nice, even if he made her feel a little awkward.
"Well, you're in the Second Plane." He told her, moving behind his desk to search for a map. If she was asking about his world, there was no doubt she wasn't from here, so maybe it would help her if she had a guide of sorts? Even if it was a generic tourist map? "If you're trying to reach the first one, you might have to go through the Mid-Plane... or are you a Midder, yourself?"
The postal worker took the last question very seriously. Second-Planers and Mid-Planers did not get along at all. If a Midder happened to wander too far from the others, a hate crime would quickly ensue, and there was no way the mailman would let her blood shed... it just wouldn't be right.

"Oh! Thank you!" Molly beamed. She thoroughly enjoyed compliments, and was also giggling at his story. It seemed hilarious to her that some people were just plain awful at cooking.
"Don't you worry there! We all just need practice! My first time, I somehow burnt.... well everything. Even the water." She cringed at that memory. "Try not to ask anyone about that."
"Even the water, miss?" The mailman giggled. George knew the pastry was just exaggerating, but the thought of it made him smile. Silly stories were always a treat to listen to, no matter how ridiculous they were made to be. They were just one of those things that made a conversation even more rich of an experience. "My, I haven't heard that one before!"
"Yes, yes, you must practice before you are perfect! Isn't that how the ol' saying goes, or am I doing it wrong?" The delivery man shrugged, pretty sure he messed it up. Oh well, human phrases weren't really his forte anyway.
wings-n-letters entered the gates
"……What…? …But…But that’s impossible! My parents…are dead…!" Elsa looked alarmed and stared at the letter in her hands. "…George, when…was this letter sent…? I……I need to know…"
"It was sent not too long ago, miss!" He confessed, showing her the time-stamp of the letter. The stamp marked the day it was sent and the day it was to be received. For the most part, it was used for organizational purposed, but it was times like these the print was at its most use. "I'm a messenger for the dead, you see, so uh... yeah..."
Silvia: Not at all. People tends to either fear me or display endless love and lust….I do not understand why since I’m dressed as a male and everything but people seems to desire what they think they can modify…I am trully confused and nobody seems to be in conditions to answer me why they act like that -shy smile-
"I guess it's pretty hard to tell, huh?" George said as he sat down on the ground. His legs were getting rather tired from working all day. "The mind is a pretty complex thing, and sometime people don't truly know the root of their actions... The only people I remember solving such a puzzle are the Mid-Planers... but... uh... they're not that trustworthy..."

"Hmm...." Molly looked quizzical for moment. Then she stated, "I enjoy cooking! After all, most food today is full of sugar and fats. If I cook it myself, then I can prevent people from those unnecessary preservatives!" She exclaimed excitedly. Her voice seemed to warble and go up in pitch as she spoke, going higher and faster. By the end of her little speech, she needed to take a breath.
"Oh dear, I've went off on a tangent again.... Simply put, I enjoy cooking." She was embarrassed, but it was more comedical then humiliating.
"Cooking? That's really cool!" He grinned, genuinely fascinated by Molly's past-time. In fact, the mention of the hobby sparked a somewhat vague memory of one of his past experiences.
"I tried cooking once, I think... but I just ended up almost obliterating the stove! My coworkers barred me from accessing the kitchen since then!" George laughed, a bit embarrassed from the story. He was at peace with it, now, anyway. Besides, he was with a new friend, and sharing amusing stories was the least he could do to help her feel more comfortable.
Christ peole literally stole organs from dead peeps!?
"Are you talking about that one scandal... or is this something else entirely?" George asked the grey face. He didn't understand what "peeps" meant. Were they talking about those marshmallow treats humans always seem to buy on the holidays?
"Well hello George, I’m Cindy and probably not but I guess there’s a chance I need help…" She held out her hand teasingly, knowing he could not see it or make the attempt to shake her hand.
"Sorry if I’m bothering you, but I don’t really know where I am at the moment so maybe you can help me figure that out" That was something happening a lot recently, getting lost and annoying strangers. Although it was a nice change of pace for someone not to get freaked out by her lack of a visible body.
"Oh no, it's alright, miss!" He reassured Cindy, reaching out for her hand and shaking it. There were quite a few invisible Second-Planers, so the postal worker had some sort of idea of limb-placement and what-not. What did they say again? It was all about how sound bounced off of objects?
"If you're lost, Miss Cindy, I could find you a map or something... are you new to this area, or are you new to our world entirely?" George questioned. The invisible visitor could be another wanderer from another district, but there were also multiple occasions where residents of different worlds stumbled upon theirs.

Injured (Wings-n-letters)
"Oh that won’t be necessary… We happen to know the way very well! We swing by there all the time~." Paige smiled. She’d explain later how he got hit, but for now she was focused on his recovery. She started walking forward, saying in a sing-song way, "Come on, it takes a while to get there by foot!"
The blue male shrugged, “You might want to listen to her, if you wish to get any better.” After that, Tony followed in pursuit, taking his sweet time. She’d run out of energy eventually, giving him a chance to catch up.
"Awhile? I-I'll bleed o-out by then!" The injured mailman sputtered, clutching his abdomen in agony. He couldn't endanger himself by using the main road, for there would be plenty of witnesses there. He needed to lure the two somewhere with no bystanders, or at least to an area out of an ear's reach. The delivery man was running out of time, too. George needed to act soon, or he won't be allowed to act again.
Taking a moment to rest his aching legs, George wheezed and tiredly looked at the long road head. "Maybe there's a short cut we could use...?" He puffed. It was a shame, these people were morally nice by today's standards, and fate somehow chose them for the task. Maybe the company should've stuck with criminals like they used to.

He shook his head, just simply staring down. He thought he had deserved this life. Kuroe was treated a lot better and it was a bit saddening when Aoi thought about it. He didn’t seem to show any emotions, though. He just moved to open the letter.
The letter read ‘Aoi, you do not have to endure my mother treating you like this. It is sickening and she’s feeding Kuroe the same bullshit she fed me, that our family is the best in the world. Please.. Find a way to escape, Aoi. Both me and your father want you to be safe. I never got to hold you, or tell you how much I love you. But.. I can try to stop this from happening. Love, mama’.
As he finished reading it, he turned to the man, “D..do you think this is a sick joke!?” He seemed enraged, “Do you have ANY idea how much I dream of being held by my mother!? To get to play a sport with my father!? To have an actual family!?” He ripped apart the paper and threw it to the ground, angry tears streaming from his eyes. He did not believe this was from his mother, but from someone who wanted him to suffer even more.
However, this did cause an old woman to leave the house, yelling at Aoi, “TAKAHASHI AOI. I TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE NOT FUCKING ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT THIS TIME! GET BACK INSIDE NOW!” He flinched, tearing up as he slowly made his way into the house. “You should know better than worry your poor unfortunate grandmother to death!”
"S..sorry g-grandma.." She quickly swatted him on the head when he came close and walked inside the house.
"You have fifteen minutes to get inside, Aoi!"
"W-wait!" The delivery main called out, running in front of the small client in order prevent them from walking away. The sudden shift of the situation was quite sudden and unexpected, and George couldn't help but go into a slight of a panic. Never in his 14-year-long career had he come across such accusations, and the thought of one of his clients disbelieving him was very unnerving. He wanted to help. He wanted the boy to be happy. Why didn't they believe him? Why didn't they believe it was their own mother?
"I-it's not a joke, sir! I can assure you that letter is genuine! If you would just let me explain to you... show you that it's real...!" George stopped himself from finishing his sentence. It was obvious, from Aoi's expression, that the young boy was in no mood for the mailman's words. If anything, the best thing he could do for him was to give Aoi time to think it over. Pressuring the boy to listen would just put the postal worker under more suspicion, and ignoring him entirely was out of the question.
Pulling out a small card from his coat pocket, George handed it to the young client. "Here's the number to my office. If you want to talk or have any questions, don't be afraid to dial the number." He informed before tipping his hat at the boy. "I'm sorry if I made things worse... I truly am..."
"Oh! My friends call me Molly! I like being healthy!" She explained, and then giggled at herself. She giggled a lot. No one knew exactly why. It was like everything was not as serious to her.
"What do you like to do?" She questioned. She was extremely curious about her new friend. After all, meeting someone new could lead to new discoveries!
"Me? I deliver the mail, of course!" George said happily, tipping his hat at his edible companion. A mailman and a waffle... wouldn't this be the perfect set up for a cheesy joke? How his coworkers would stare in surprise if they saw the two meeting!
"Do you have any hobbies, Miss Molly? I'm sure they're pretty interesting, considering you're... well... food." The delivery man asked. Come to think of it, were waffles even capable of doing the same things as vertebrates? What kind of activities could food participate in, without the threat of being burnt or made soggy? He was curious to find out!
