You can argue this is for āsensibilitiesā or spout mental gymnastics about censorship, or being a āpervertā for being upset that outfits are removed. But this is obviously just the tip of the iceberg with them going overboard, and its only going to get worse because they seem to be picking apart every big release to find things to get rid of. Im sorry Nintendo but this is just too much. Your fanbase is obviously more mature than you are, because you refuse to just slap an M rating on a game. Feel free to add to this list as more news pops up
If Nintendo are soĀ āPCā then explain Bayonetta 2. Ā Explain that all the violent content in Project Zero 5 has been uncut. Ā Explain other M rated games such as Eternal Darkness and Geist.
Is it so wrong that they make the decision to remove meaningless fap fodder for straight guys? Ā I donāt play Project Zero for our barely legal heroines to have pointless jiggling boobs and asscrack bearing thongs, (notice our sole male protagonist doesnāt suffer from any costumes remotely similar) Ā it ruins the atmosphere of the game. Ā And if such things are necessary for you to enjoy a game I pity you.
As for Xenoblade X dual audio? Ā Well, itās incredibly expensive to usually have the Japanese tracks, due to licensing issues with the Japanese voice actors or for technical reasons like lack of disc place.Ā
Three Things: 1. I agree regarding the Project Zero editing. IMO, that was much needed as it ruins the atmosphere and is incredibly uncomfortable.Ā They changed their ages, but that doesnāt change what folks know. 2. While I agree that the Breast Slider isnāt that big of a deal, I also feel that it shouldnāt have been removed in general either as itās an option for CaC.Ā Iāve used it in DW8:Empires to make women with larger busts and smaller busts. It adds a method of expanding character variety in your creations IMO, not to mention adding some form of proportions for the body-type of the female character youāre creating.Ā Thatās coming at it from an outside-view of āLetās create some peopleā rather than ālolbiggerboobiesā, which is probably an outlier perspective as I never saw the āBreast Sliderā as fap fodder personally. 3. I take umbrage moreso at the removal (If itās official?) of the theological aspects of Xenoblade X.Ā That just strikes as absolutely silly and detrimental to the game and its core plot, not to mention hypocritical considering some of the games in Nintendoās past and even present have some form of theology in them, and itās not even about an M-Rating on that front, as there are plenty of games that have religious aspects that are rated Teen.
