I’m struggling so hard with my body lately. While my mind is going about 100 MPH mulling over everything I need to do and finish, my body is going about 2 MPH; I physically feel weak and exhausted. I’m trying to move and be productive, but it’s like that message isn’t being delivered. Instead my body is just yearning for sleep, sleep, and more sleep. I know that this is likely just my body forcing me to slow down, that I need to take care of myself. While that's definitely true, it doesn't make this any less inconvenient or frustrating. Chronic illness is kicking my ass.

I found the most gorgeous spot on the river this week. There's this beautiful weeping willow that provides the perfect amount of shade, and a waters shallow enough that I felt comfortable letting the kids wade for a bit. The weather as of lately hasn't been very ideal, so I haven't been going on my runs as often as I would like. I was planning on going today, even bringing a hammock so that once I ran that 1-2 miles I needed to, I could relax with book and good views. That'll just have to wait till next week, I guess.
