IMO Grounded Vindaloop is the last great SP episode. There have been funny moments since, but no home run episodes.
LOL, another Dexter spinoff. "Resurrection" better refer to Deb. Come on, retcon S8 and bring back the most complex, beautiful relationship in TV history.
With the Arizona supreme court's decision today, along with the Right To Abortion initiative going on the ballot in November, I think it's safe to say Trump is cooked in Arizona this November. His sycophant Kari Lake is already scrambling to dissociate herself from this.
Very interested in the upcoming David Chase/Terence Winter horror movie. I hope this means Chase will be leaning back into his more Lynchian inclinations (Funhouse/The Test Dream/Join The Club) where he always excelled as opposed to the sterile atmosphere of The Many Saints Of Newark.

I loved the first six episodes of season 2, but can't deny I was disappointed with the last two. Ed deciding they were moving too fast and leaving Stede...maybe a few seasons down the line but just a few episodes after this was man was on a suicide mission because Stede left him? It made no sense at all. Then to have him immediately change his mind in the very beginning of the next episode...just what the hell. This needed a multi episode arc at least.
As for Izzy, it's not him dying that pisses me off so much as that once again I feel it was the wrong season for it be happening. He came so close to death at the beginning of the season, to managing to recover and shoot Ed, to having this emotional journey of finding his family within the crew, then to just be shot at the end and then die in the next scene. I've seen the arguments for it being foreshadowed and making sense, but again, this feels like a later season's arc, it doesn't connect well with what was happening earlier.
I realize we don't know if there will be a season 3 and this might have affected the decisions in the writers room, but you work with what you have. Don't rush things. If you eliminate Ed's fisherman plot and Izzy's death the season loses nothing and feels much more cohesive. IMO at least.
"It's like I've always been looking for someone like Dexter, or someone who's the opposite of Dexter, as a way to avoid the fact that I'm in love with him. It's just clear to me now".
I personally pretend the series ended there and just imagine my own ending. Imagine the glory that season 7 and 8 could have been if the writers hadn't let the backlash sway them into discarding Debster and putting Dexter with a disgusting femme fatale that he would have killed in one episode in any other season. Oh what could have been. Hey, at least we still have the dream sequence.

a review of 75 studies published by Mehmet Oz between 1989 and 2010 reveals the Republican Senate candidateās research killed over 300 dogs and inflicted significant suffering on them and the other animals used in experiments.
what a horrible creepy fuck this guy is
I find it difficult to get excited about a new season of Dexter without Deb. She was basically the other half of Dexter. They should have killed Hannah in the finale instead. Funny that the writers wanted us to buy into their nauseatingĀ āloveā, but it seems Hannahās death couldnāt produce the sufficient emotional response from Dexter or the audience.
