There was no sign of Ronan to be found anywhere in the castle.
On his door there was the message "DO NOT DISTURB" written with white chalk, and on the chapel door, there was a sign:
"Sunday Service is cancelled this week. The chapel will remain open for use, regardless."
The castle was...oddly silent. Most of the inhabitants had expected to see Ronan inspecting the castle, as usual and scheduled.
And the architect never missed those inspections.
...
But nobody came.
There was no sign of Ronan to be found anywhere in the castle.

Maybe you could ask the others too if they have something they'd like? I'd do it myself, but I haven't really talked to any of them yet.
We were thinking something like an apartment building. That way everyone has their own space.
We could do one big enough for us, and to have room for anyone else who gets revived. I know Corvus and I are planning to go find more of his family soon, they'll need homes to live in too.
And you can come by whenever, you know. There may be a whole clan of us, but we don't bite.
That's what I'd be going with, too.
The castle might be big enough for all of us from the "original" colony, but it was bound to run out of space sooner or later.

That's true. Eventually we'll need the same amount of apartments anyways, but smaller buildings are put up faster since the situation's a bit too urgent to be delayed for a year due to our comparatively slow building speed.

Well, let me think about who all can survive living together for a possibly extended period of time.

We should probably start with two buildings, six-units with two bedrooms in each should at least get those we currently have settled and give us a little extra space. Corvus has...how many siblings again? Crane, Swallow, Parrot, Rook...gods, he has nearly as many as I do... this is gonna be a huge pain...
so just to recap, twelve units, and that makes 24 beds, did I catch that right? I'm a bit slow with my notetaking, sorry
We should definitely also plan an apartment or two more for unexpected newcomers, guests, or for when someone has to leave their room for a while like a certain someone burning down the clinic.
Does any of you have any special wishes or needs for accommodation I should consider?
Yeah, 24 beds and a few extra should be a good start.
As far as I'm aware, no one needs anything special.
I appreciate this Ronan, I know it's a lot of work to design and get a building built. If you need help let us know, Charlie and Aden can help you where you need.

Once the plan and design phase is over, I'll definitely take you up on that offer.
But as much as I appreciate it, right now the best way you can help me is by giving me feedback on potential designs, until we found one that'll work the best for the most people.

Marry: Wren (@poisonrunsthroughveins ). We spend a bit of time together anyways, and they are my closest friend in the colony. If there's one person I'd want to stay with for the rest of my life, it's probably them. in a platonic way. anonymous shipper, don't get your hopes up.
Kill: Wyatt. Now, I'm against killing him, obviously, but...that guy has a weird feeling about him. He reminds me of my father. And that's not a good thing. Kiss: that's probably the hardest one. Most people around my age have a lover (else I'd say Aden just to piss him off), and...yeah, no. Hmm... Maybe Brody. He's a nice fella.
