First, this fucking works on the nun and they get the files they need?

But second, Betty. Darling. Sweet summer child. Your sister was admitted there and could testify to the abusive treatment that goes on at this place. Cheryl endured attempted conversion "therapy" along with countless others over the years. You understand this is a place of suffering and trauma. Shouldn't you just bring in the FBI and get them shut down anyway?? For someone who supposedly cares about the wellbeing of others, you just use those suffering people as leverage to get something you want from batshit crazy Nuns?

I know that Sparrow was branded by Beckett because he freed a slave ship (as evident in At World's End deleted scene when he tells Beckett that people aren't cargo) and that it becomes the ship that Davy Jones raises up from the depths to become The Black Pearl. It's also evident that he saved many people from the ship and it would explain why Davy Jones claims that Jack's soul is worth 100 souls. He saved 100 people off a slave ship, whether it was through a bargain with Jones or he freed them while the ship was going down.

I think all the people that came out to stand in the river with a candlelight vigil were the men and women Jack saved from that ship and he helped them get to safety in Tia Dolma's swamps where they could be free.
