Courfeyrac, rather than an entire bottle, simply ordered a glass of wine. Listening to Grantaire’s ever self-deprecating words, he sighed in both fondness and concern.

You’re good for much more than just listening, but say what you will, I suppose.

Nothing has changed too dramatically. Marius and I recently adopted a stray cat. Her name is Liberty, she’s an absolute sweetheart! I’d love for you to meet her soon. I think she would like you.

Courf paused for a moment to think. He could bring up his arrest, but perhaps that was a conversation for another time.

What else.. ah. I’ve been plagued with a terrible love sickness as of late, but- what else is new, haha! It’ll pass.

Then he laughs again and leans closer to Courf, friendly punching his shoulder with a teasing smirk.
