I was tagged by @winterinhimring and thus, here is the last line for my current WIP

There was no time to mourn the tremendous sacrifices that were happening all around him—-Veers had his walker raised and ready, drawing down the periscope to assess the situation.

I also can’t tag as many people as there are words in that line but here you are folks. Feel free to do what you will! Tagging some of the numerous talented people here 😉🙌

Three years of his life with her, gone just like that. He looks up at the twinkle of speeders and imagines them to be the stars that are drowned out by light pollution. For now he’ll return to the Anti-Pirate Fleet station, to his bunk there. Then to Coruscant and the Imperial Naval Academy. Then onwards, wherever the stars might lead him…

If he shut his eyes and concentrated Piett could still feel the heat of Vader standing behind him on the bridge. The oppressive closeness of him, blocking him in. The steady rhythm of his mechanical breathing set against the pleasant hum of the navigational computer, and Piett trapped between them.

Discussing their backgrounds would be the traditional way of getting to know each other, and as they had sort of jumped right into the physical aspect of their relationship, it was probably overdue. But Piett knew that such talk might be difficult, given that the details of Vader’s past had to be tied up with so much else he kept close to his chest.

Having done all that he could with his repairs, Vader rises and glides out of the observation suite, turning into a silent corridor.  With his damaged respirator functioning at only twenty precent efficiency, there will be no room for error.  He senses Tark nearby, Force signature slithering and sliding behind the walls, leaving a tangle of desperate fury in his wake.

Tarkin and Krennic as siths man. And would it be back in the day or “present” i.e. Palpatine time? I feel like Back in the Day would allow for more Tarkin v Krennic stuff to happen without them having to join up against Palpatine - though that could be fun. 

It would be great to see more Tarkin/Krennic from you someday, here’s hoping you get to it <3

I do miss writing these two bastards. Everyone I’ve been doing lately has some semblance of honour?? save Grima. But you know. 

And ah! I love your writing so much! But I also get the multiple projects/feeling like there isn’t time/space to commit <3 

I think like many things we humans do, intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation is at play. Writing is cerebral to begin with, good writing is not that easy to do, and on top of that it is sometimes a thankless endeavor because it requires effort for people to consume it ( versus just looking at an illustration/picture ). Writing really has to be a labor of love and the reaped rewards are slower paced, though no less valuable.

Of course the style and design functionality of something LJ-esque is pretty archaic now and I don’t want to be an Old pining for the Old ways, that’s pretty dumb.

1300k-ish words / pretty much safe for work.  krennic pays an annoying visit to his favorite least favorite person.  my keyboard needs to be confiscated.  i love giving overly convoluted responses to anon asks.  i also love writing on the subway pretending to be studious when in reality i’m writing silly fanfiction.
