too busy on her phone, venice barely noticed that anyone was standing in front of her; good thing william bothered to say something otherwise she probably would’ve ignored whoever it was. no matter, she looked up and a coy smirk slipped onto her lips. “i’m only planning the most iconic halloween costumes for the season,” she wiggled her brows, locking her phone so that he wouldn’t be able to see what she was looking at for inspiration. “three guesses as to what i’m being and maybe you’ll get a treat in return.”

Jace had just gotten off his shift as well, and was pulling a hoodie over his slightly crumpled work shirt. He gave the other guy a polite smile, as he usually did when talking to co-workers. He’d seen and talked with Will before, in a passing capacity, since they both worked at the bar.

“Oh, hey,” he shrugged. “Just finished my shift and ‘s about to go get something to eat.

“The shifts here aren’t usually too bad but today was……” Jace tried to find an appropriate word, realized his work-fried brain wouldn’t cooperate, and gave up. “Hard. Harder than usual.”

His smile turned a bit more sympathetic. William’s own shift couldn’t have been much different. “But you’d already know that, right?”

She cracks an amused smile, “I’ll be the judge of that.” Camila was on the verge of letting out a chuckle, but instead flashed a wicked grin. “Are you sure you’re up for that? Give me a safe word first. You’re gonna need it.”

“I’m always looking for something fun.” She stated blatantly before continuing, “Start listing and I’ll tell you if I’m into it or not.”
