Shawn stood his ground, no matter how taken by her actions he was. But he didn’t waver, not wanting the guy to get any ideas. He lifted his arm, wrapping it around her shoulders and pulling closer. “Anything for you, sweetheart. Can’t leave you too long.” He muttered, placing a kiss to the top of her head, before turning back to the guy. “Otherwise, the vultures will ascend.” He projected, staring down the man as he walked away.

As the guy walked away, she kept the act going just for a moment longer in case the guy looked back. The smile on Willa’s face never left though, dropping her hands from Shawn’s waist. “Thanks for that..Though I could have handled it.” She muttered the last part, 

Shawn was not one to party every night, much like his two roommates. He’d much rather being in his room, writing song after song. But he knew he had to attend these parties, make himself known and participate. He figured he’d grab a few drinks, play a game of beer pong or two, mingle and then leave. An easy compromise he made with himself; make an appearance, but not too much of one where he could just slip out easily when he wanted to.

He was done with his second beer and about halfway through the party when he started to head towards the drinks once again. It was then something caught his attention, making him pause in his movements. Immediately noticing the discomfort the girl, who he slightly recognized from his apartment building and the grocery store, was displaying and how the guy wasn’t moving, he made his way over. “Hey man.” He called out over the music, reaching them and grabbing hold of the guys arm, moving it away from the wall. “I think she doesn’t want to talk to you anymore. You should go.” Shawn said, moving to stand between the two of them.

Willa had almost forced the guys arm down when Shawn came over. She knew he lived in the same apartment building as her, but really hadn’t gotten a chance to speak with him much.. She was able to slip behind him once the guy’s arm got taken down, and she slowly started to bring out her acting - honestly a natural , and just kinda went with what was happening. “Aw, thanks babe for coming over,” She wrapped her arms around his waist and kissed his cheek, softly.

it couldn’t have been a longer day, - having been invited to her first actual college party that was actually on the NYU campus she was excited and nervous at the same time.  having gotten the invite dm’d  and rereading it over, focusing on it being a halloween party. Was she gonna go the mean girls route and be a sexy mouse? no, but she did settle on whipping up harley quinn. the light pink had already faded from her hair so pulling it up in pigtails and spraying the ends blue and pink was easy.

Once at the party, she found a few girls she knew and started hanging with them, before she went and flirted with a few guys, one slightly peaking her interest for a while, but after a little bit, Willa was not flirting back with him, and  actually she started feeling kinda awkward. As she tried to get away his arm went beside of her head, his hand on the wall. “Okay we’re done here..” She said over the music trying to move the guys arm out of the way.

Well, we can do whatever you want.

Shawn: lived and breathe for New York. He loved the apartment he lived in with his roommates... until they eat all the food and leave him to do the shopping. Luckily for him he had had only one class that day so he figured it was now or never. He had just grabbed a cart and headed towards the other end of the store, planning on working back to front. Pulling out his phone with his list, he didn’t notice the cart turning in front of him, jumping slightly at the sound of clanging carts. “My fault. Should have been paying attention.” He said apologetically, pocketing his phone and looking up. A smile came to his face, recognizing her. “Hey... aren’t you my neighbor?”
