every time I see myself, I see all the abuses. I’m so tired, I don’t want to be the victim. I’m not a victim, it can’t be my new self, everything I got. I was someone before, I was so clean. I missed looking my reflection in the mirror without feeling disgusted to the core. I was so proud of me, so untouchable, so pretty. I changed myself, got bigger, got meaner, got uglier and dirtier. I was trying to protect what was left of me. now, that I’m tired and alone, I’m trying to get back clean. but I feel like I belong to the trash bin. who wants something already used and dirty? who wants love something so disgusting like me? I’m not a victim, I was just a kid, a daughter, a nephew, a friend, a cousin. I was someone. I miss that. I miss being loved and loving—clean.
