At least work kept her busy. Seoyun could bury herself in to meetings, endless contracts, scheduling, and forget about any troubles she had for hours. Once it all finished, she was left with an agonizing lonely ache in her chest that only Minjoon had been able to fill and it had been that way for a few weeks, now. She didn't have time to entertain her feelings considering it was past midnight and she only had a few hours of rest before another early meeting, but she couldn't handle that small amount of time without thinking about him -- the ache hollowed her from inside out.

work had been distracting enough, had successfully taken his mind off of the fact that he couldn't see seoyun nor speak to her as much as he would've wanted. fingers had hovered over the phone a few times to send her a text or two, just to tell her that he missed her but ultimately didn't want to bother her while she was busy with various meetings and contracts. her life was hectic enough and he didn't want to add to it. she would contact him when she had the time.

still, that ache deep within him didn't settle and minjoon couldn't help himself from checking his phone time and time again. perhaps it was a little pathetic in a way, to wait for someone as desperately as he was but he couldn't help feeling the way he felt about seoyun. she was it, he was certain of it after the time they've spend together and he was willing to do anything to keep her as his. even if everything happened on her terms alone.
