pls rock with me for a bit bc this is a lot of information, but i’m so serious about this 😭

as OBSESSED as i am with Monster High, now that i’m grown, i wanna see them in college. however, i don’t trust anyone to do my vision justice so as of right now: my Monster High College au series is in the brainstorming stage 😋

NOW, the bulk of it is gonna be canon divergence. it just makes the most sense for me to do it that way bc if i’m aging the characters up, i have to fill in the blanks of what happened from them leaving Monster High. not to mention, i’ve gotta workaround the material they’ve got now bc i basically shut out anything after Great Scarier Reef 💀 I DON’T FW THE CURRENT MONSTER HIGH AT ALL! so pls don’t expect to see any elements from there (i’ll probably only include Clawdeen’s sapphic ship and Kieran and his boyfriend bc that’s just too great to pass up, sorry)!

my plan for the relationships is basically gonna be:

what’s already been established (Cleo de Nile/Deuce Gorgon, Clawd Wolf/Draculaura, Ghoulia Yelps/SlowMo)

modify established ones—terminate them or enhance them (Lagoona Blue/Gillington Webber—Gil is such a fucking loser y’all, i need him OUT. Abbey Bominable/Heath Burns—CAUSE C’MON IT’S A NEED. Spectra Vondergeist/Porter Geiss—definitely one of my favs!! i gotta do them justice. Catty Noir/Pharoah—y’all c’mon, we got CRUMBS! for my babes, and a popstar romance is too good to pass up!)

then i have background relationships + ones i wanna develop, and there’s PLENTY but the ones i wanna focus on are:

the Frankie Stein Harem (Jackson Jekyll, Holt Hyde, Andy, Neighthan Rot, and Hoodude Voodoo). if you’re raising your eyebrows at Hoodude, REMEMBER THE SERIES! he was her build-a-bear boyfriend 😭 i don’t plan on making them anything serious, but i love Hoodude and my babe deserves to be more than disposable comedic relief. so while he won’t end up with Frankie, he WILL! get his happily ever after!! then Andy, bless his heart, he deserves to be seen more! he’s got the least screen time outta all the guys, therefore there’s barely chemistry and relationships to build on, but i refuse to write him out even though he also won’t end up with Frankie (love him, but i’ve got a vision).

Howleen Wolf x Romulus 🤭 THIS IS ANOTHER ONE Y’ALL GOTTA HEAR ME OUT ON 😭 ikikikikik Howleen is like 4-5 years younger than Romulus (she’s basically a freshman (14-15) and he’s like (18-19) in the series) BUT once i rewatched the episode where she was crushing on Romulus, i had to flesh out that idea. C’MON! brother’s best friend and one-sided pining?? I GOTTA DO IT! there’s no talking me out of it, bc they’re what this whole rework is based off of 😭

Clawdeen Wolf x Toralei Stripe ❤️‍🔥 SOOOOOO many thoughts are floating around in my head, but the basis of this is basically gonna be a secret relationship + Toralei being jealous bc Clawdeen is bsfs with Draculaura when she has a crush on her. DRAMAAAAA 😈

and ofc i’ve got my list of supporting characters (mostly my favs) who’ll be making appearances 🤭 Robecca Steam, Operetta, Jinafire Long, Cupid, Kiyomi Haunterly, Sirena Von Boo, Twyla Boogeyman, and sooo many more!

ideally, everyone would have their own story, but i largely plan for a good bit of these to overlap. like the Wolf siblings will probably have their stories intertwined bc of the overlap with Clawdeen and her crush on Draculaura + Howleen’s feelings for Romulus (Clawd’s best friend). but if that gets too be too stressful i may just make a big collection and have them all under that umbrella. we’ll see 🫩
