If you don't like Hobie Brown's hair (4c freeform locs or wicks), you can't really say you're a Hobie Brown fan. I swear ppl keep erasing his gorgeous hair texture. Margo Kess' too. I'm so tired of ppl comparing mixed partially black men with looser curly hair and less black features to Hobie Brown. His locs stick up. His locs are not uniform. They are a range of lengths. Actually you're not really a fan of any black character if you hate black features. I'm only sympathetic to other black ppl who perpetuate this texturism bc we deal with sm antiblackness on the regular.
