Eu preciso de algo mais, algo que vá mais na onda de Wonder Woman do que propriamente do Batman ou Superman. Ela pode ter poderes, mas há uma evolução nela que é humana e que se nota um crescimento emocional que nenhum dos outros conseguiu ter. Grunhir não é um sentimento.

Também não é surpresa alguma que exista este Birds of Prey, muito menos quando a única coisa que se aproveitou de Suicide Squad foi a própria Harley Quinn. Apesar de tresloucada, ela tem a dose ideal de loucura que todos nós gostaríamos de ter e não deixa de ser humana, o que facilita na criação de empatia com a mesma. E por muito que tentem adicionar mais alguns personagens femininos à mistura, todas elas bastante bem conseguidas, as atenções acabam por se prender bastante na personagem de Margot Robbie que continua a saber dar vida a esta personagem e a tornou num ícone cinematográfico instantâneo.

I need something more, more Wonder Woman than Batman or Superman. Even though she has powers, there’s growth in her, a human side, an emotional development that none of the others managed to have. Grunting is not a feeling.

There’s no surprise as well that Birds of Prey got made, even less when the only good thing coming out of Suicide Squad was Harley Quinn herself. She may be nuts, but it’s the right amount of nuts, the amount anyone would like to have, which makes it easier for us to empathize with her. And they can try to add some more female characters, every single one of them great in their own way, but all the attentions turns to the amazing character Margot Robbie brought to life and that turned her into an instant movie icon.
