Wicked Confessions

I have one new confession in the mailbox that I’ll make and upload at the weekend so feel free to submit some more if you want to! 

“My mother and sister came across a Wicked t-shirt that says “Defy Gravity” in a Goodwill and they got it for me. I wear it at every chance I get and if I end up ripping it or whatever I’m going to turn it into wall art.” -queen-erika-the-songful

“My best and only female friend first introduced me to Wicked through a vocal selections book she passed down to me for my birthday. Now it’s one of my favourite musicals ever, and whenever I hear “For Good” I think about her. I hope we can see it together someday, even just the upcoming movie would be enough for me.” -queen-erika-the-songful

“One of the reasons I like Wicked so much is that for some reason, when I listen to the soundtrack I envision the guy I like and me as Fiyero and Elphaba (we saw the musical on tour together and talked about it all the time). It just makes me really happy.” -Anon

“I’m in high school marching band and we played Wicked for our show. Just after the season ended, we went as a band to see the musical and it was the best thing I have ever seen!! It was amazing seeing all of my friends and band mates singing along and smiling to the songs that we’d played probably a 1000 times throughout out season. Truly a experience I won’t soon forget :) Everyone had a great time and I loved all of the actors and actresses. Defying Gravity is iconic ❤️ “ -Anon

Super quick post, I have no posts left in the queue and, whilst I do have three new things in the ask box (thank you!) I’m not sure if I’ll have time to make those soon. I have 3 essays to write for uni that count for most of my mark this term so that’s gonna be pretty hectic. I promise I am still around and will come back to this blog as soon as I possibly can.

“I saw Wicked last night in Dallas and it was such a major plot twist for me. It showed that Elphaba really wasn’t as bad as everyone else made her out to be. She was just misunderstood. I think that Dee Roscioli portrayed that for the character really well. All in all, a really wonderful performance! -sgt-leppards-tardis
