Im used to the SNK fandom being awful but you all need a wake up call so I donāt care if I lose even more followers after this post. Hopefully this will be the last thing relating to this ch I post aside from maybe a meta on the new ch after I actually read it. But regarding the spoiler images I have more than a few things I need to say.
1)āomg this writing is so shit all of the sudden iām going to leave the fandomā
a)Good fking leave if you canāt handle a few spoiler images without lashing out at the entire fandom and series than I donāt want your negative ass here anyway go on and leave no need to make it a spectacle.
b)No it isnāt, if you truly thought the writing was shit you wouldnāt have kept up with the story for 80+ chapters. You are just salty the scene didnāt play out how you wanted.
2)āThe serum is bad writing its a #spacemagic way to bring someone back 0/10.ā³
a)The serum was established roughly 10 months ago you have had ages to complain about it.
b)Whoopty do, we already had people transforming into 15 meter giants since the beginning , let alone all the other mind power shit that was introduced. God forbid they use something we have known causes titan shifting for literally 70+ chapters to create another titan shifter when they are up against a literal village of titan shifters than can control regular titans and had over 90% of their military force destroyed. Honestly if they didnāt have anyone to revive they would have probably made someone a shifter anyway to bolster their forces. The fact that they can save someone who is dying is essentially a qualifier so they donāt have to unethically subject a random person to experimentation. If you canāt handle a staple aspect of this series then you probably shouldnāt have kept up with it this long.

a)Yea because we should just expect 15-16 year oldās who have lost their entire family and several friends to just sit back and react rationally when their best friend is literally being tossed aside to die while a man in his 30ā²s in a position of leadership is somehow #innocent for putting them in that situation due to his own personal feelings. Both parties acted irrationally. Both let their feelings get in the way. Grey morality is at the core of this series. Deal with it.
b)Yea itās character regression despite the fact that Mikasa literally listened to Hanji and calmed down, reluctantly accepting Armin was going to die, sobbing. Let me repeat that again. THE CHARACTER WHOSE ENTIRE MISSION STATEMENT FOR JOINING THE SC WAS PROTECTION OF THOSE IMPORTANT TO HER ACCEPTED THAT ARMIN WAS GOING TO DIE FOR THE CAUSE AT ONE POINT. On what planet is this character regression exactly?Ā
Everyone is spouting crap about character regression because they fought but everyone is ignoring the fact that they all laid down their arms at one point willing to give the other what they wanted despite their personal feelings? Hello?

Erwin has had death flags hanging out of his ass for the past 20 chapters. And thatās not even counting Levi overhearing the shiganshina trioās conversation or Erwinās conversation with Levi about being content with his death.

a)First of all, if you can forgive Bert for being responsible for literally thousands of people, including the protagonistās friends and family, being subjected to the same death Bert was subjected to because he was on the opposite side of a war then you should be able to forgive x/y/z character.
āBut heās a child soldier-ā YEA GUESS WHO ELSE ARE CHILD SOLDIERS
b)This entire arc had Bert accept that he was going to have to do shitty things even though it wasnāt right and to finally not hesitate like a sweat sack, living up to his full potential as a warrior. He was an antagonist and he finally accepted it and tbh, while I didnāt exactly appreciate him slapping around characters Iāve grown attached to, he was pretty badass. So just take solace in the fact that he went out in a blaze of glory (heh) and accept the fact that heās an antagonist like he himself has.
7)āOmg its such horseshit Armin was chosen heās uselessā
Yea sure the entire reason why Bert was defeated in the first place is #useless seems legit.

You do realize that Erwin trusts Arminās ability enough to put Armin in command of a group of soldiers in his stead right? Besides, Hanji was recognized as a replacement for Erwin over a year ago. And while yes, Erwin is more experienced than Armin currently is, as Hanji mentioned to which Mikasa couldnāt even respond to aside from crying, I am going to bring up something you guys have been neglecting. Morale, itās kind of important. It doesnāt matter if you have 5000 or 5,000,000 soldiers if they donāt want to fight for you and/or donāt trust you. I donāt know if you guys realize this but literally every surviving soldier aside from Levi, Hanji and the random redshirt, including the only experienced titan shifter and the only person comparable to Leviās skill with the 3DMG is friends with Armin. If you forsake someone like that when you have to opportunity to save them morale is going to plummet and the only experienced soldiers left are going to have residual doubt or feelings of betrayal towards the leadership. Which isnāt exactly a good thing, especially when you consider how important Eren and Mikasa are in particular. We can debate who is more usefulā¢all day but the point is that picking Armin makes strategic sense for different reasons.
