Life works kinda like owning a computer: you can get something built by someone else and deal with whatever the hell someone else decided for you or you can do it yourself. When you do it yourself, it's tailor-made to what you need and at any time you can decide what's no longer good enough. You can get rid of something that is dragging you down and pop in something much better or you can even tear that entire shit down to nothing, liquidate, and start completely over. The point is to have what works for you with an appropriate amount of effort to obtain and put to use. One should always go for what works best for oneself, not what works best for everyone. Life is not one size fits all.
