I’m noticing this too! It’s not good–it’s gonna make it hard once the show premieres to separate out shipping vs show content. It’s going to mean a lot more contact with antis or cross-tagging with other ships.

But– IMO we’re better off selecting a more traditional ship name. “Scarlet Vision” is long and wordy, and the idea behind a ship name is to make it easy for us to find each other’s content. On tumblr, you get “#scarlet vision”, “#scarletvision”, “#scarlet-vision”. You get scarlet spelled “scarlett” too. It also sounds so similar to “#wandavision” that I can see why people aren’t wanting to tag both. When used with a space it can overlap with the #vision tag on tumblr’s search function. I think this problem will only compound.

I’d love it if there could be a movement to transition to #visanda personally. It’s much shorter (which is great for twitter, too), easy to spell and remember, and doesn’t have as much audiovisual overlap with “#wandavision”.

Literally picked my username because of how much I disliked "scarlet vision" as a ship name. I love "#visanda" too though!! I agree, keeping "#wandavision" for the show would be helpful for avoiding spoilers and such. I'll start tagging things as both scarlet vision and visanda to see if we can make that transition.
