I’ve lost 20-30lbs in the past few months, and damn has it made a difference. I’m asked out multiple times a day now. “Hurry up with the change” has turned into “don’t worry about it, keep the change!”. Random strangers call me beautiful every day, when I was heavier I’d only heard it a few times in my life. People buy me things now. Pursue me and my interests. People think I’m the “whole package” but I don’t see a difference between now and then. I have the same brain, same wit, same humor, same kindness. Now I’m just lighter.

The downside to losing weight is realizing how much more the world wants you in it when you are 20 pounds lighter.
