Hello, friend. Meet Elliot Alderson, a cyber security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night.

He's lonely. Angry. Depressed. And addicted to morphine.

He has a dog named Flipper, who he stole from his therapist Krista's scumbag boyfriend, and a fish named QWERTY.

He works for a cybersecurity company called Allsafe along with his childhood friend Angela, her boyfriend Ollie, and their boss Gideon.

Their biggest client is the conglomerate, E Corp. A perfect monster of modern society better described by the name: Evil Corp.

They're the same company Elliot's father worked for before dying of cancer when Elliot was young.

Mr. Robot. The leader of the hacker group, fsociety. His mission: shut Evil Corp down.

Elliot agrees and gives false information to the FBI, implicating Evil Corp's CTO.

It works and the revolution has begun.
