Silver is the only second year student who is a kindergarten student instead of a first year

And riddle is the only second year student who is an adult

A theme I've seen is all the first year students were Kindergarteners, All the third years were adults, and all the second years are 1st graders

So why do those two stick out?

Yeah good question!

TBH it was my own bias lol. I really wanted to explore Silver's relationship with Lilia more through this AU, and I couldn't do that with Silver being in first grade. Plus, it would have broken my heart to separate Silver and Sebek's interactions -- who interact so often in the game -- and the first graders in my story are side characters at best.
