Good afternoon to one and all..... hope all goes well and you're ready for the storm tomorrow! As most of you likely know, I've added yet another obsession over the last few years as I seem to have dove head first into weaving. It certainly was good to have something else to keep me occupied during the Covid lockdowns in between jewelry making adventures...... especially as I had some trouble getting jewelry making supplies!!! Spent some time the last few days working on my "new to me" Leclerc Colonial loom (this is loom number three if anyone is keeping count.... yep head first!). I'm still trying to tweek the loom setup to get it weaving nicely so that I need to use fewer words while using it ;-) Of course, I had to try out a new weave structure as well! Whatcha think so far? Another busy day in the studio. Spent this morning trying to get the gallery (formerly known as the garage!) in order. Another busy day in the basement studio hiding away from the heat. Made a couple copper cuff bracelets and worked on a pair of silver earrings that I hope will be finished up in time for the South Niagara Artists Summer Studio Tour. Think I best take a few days away from smithing before the carpal tunnel starts howling !!!
