Someone pinged me the other day on Etsy to ask if I thought I could do an edelweiss flower on a pair of red slippers. I had to look up the flower to see what it looked like and thought gosh - that sure would a pretty combo. I haven't heard back from the person as of yet but thought as I do just happen to have a spare pair of red slippers laying around (the first set that turned out too small for my son), why not give it a shot? I'm inspired! So here's my start as well as the photo of the flower I'm going by.... I need to figure out how best to do the yellow bits and perhaps add a leaf or two. It's definitely not perfect but it didnt turn out nearly as bad as I had expected for attempt #1. Lol! Whatcha think I should add and/or change?
