wip of starfire based off that iconic lean beef patty pose👀👀

this was really fun to work on!! but quite difficult as i had to be really careful with all my values as im using just one colour for most of the piece! raven was always my fav character of teen titans growing up and i loved working on this :)

a photo study of our beloved summer! the background was difficult, i rarely do backgrounds so it was a learning experience :)

the bg for this is done!! it looks like a mess i know but im trying heheh

figuring out the cloth details is still tough im getting there tho!!

my first sketch of this wasnt great, i had oversimplified some of their outfit lines into straight lines, when i shld have been using curves and wiggly lines to show the detail and add the realism i was looking for

this second piece was inspired by this superboy art! this was honestly also a difficult piece to do cos shoes! but also cos of all the details when it came to Yamaguchi's outfit - i snuck in as many star details as i could theres about 16, i originally wanted to make his belt details stars too but i felt that it was too much?? theres actually story context that suits how tsukkiyama are behaving in this piece but ull have to read the work to find out!
