chronologically, i'm in my late 20s [26 - 29]. i'm anti-censorship, pro-kink, and of the "olden internet" [early to late 2010s]. i've been on tumblr since 2014.
i regress between 14 & 16. i typically feel like a teenager more often than not; it's kinda just "background radiation" at this point. when i actively feel regressed, it's usually involuntary & mostly stress/anxiety related.
i play anywhere between "really young kid," "older kid," & "tween / preteen." if i had to stick numbers here, probably 4 - 13? most of my play is about the childhood i wish i had, re-parenting myself, & just having fun.

why kidfur, specifically? why not Age Regressor, or Little?
primarily because i like/prefer the flexibility of βkidfurβ [or littlefur] over age regressor or little. suffice to say, i donβt exactly βfitβ the squeaky-clean aesthetic & experience of [most] agere bloggers. my experiences arenβt always safe-for-work sunshine & rainbows, but they also arenβt always sexual; sometimes iβm Little in the kink way, sometimes iβm just small. the term "dualcom" [dual community] i guess applies to me in my private/offline life, but littlefur/kidfur feels more "correct"/relevant/encompassing for me [especially online]. being a furry is a really big & important part of my identity, regardless of my headspace~
a lot of the tumblr agere community is, largely,Β anti-kink - vehemently & aggressively so. "puritanical" barely covers the attitudes i've seen. on my first agere related related blog, i never felt safe to actually express myself; i felt pressured to adhere to a common aesthetic & "dni criteria."Β iβm tired of leaving key aspects of my experiences unacknowledged, as theyβre important to me. plus, writing about them might be helpful for someone else ^_^

i know the theme is "sky," but the design also makes me think of seaglass, colorful aquarium gravel, or a coral reef! so, for their aesthetic/moodboard, i decided to lean into frutiger aqua~ which also informed some of the names i have in mind >:3

Tbh there is an overabundance of media about a nonhuman creature's deep desire and journey to become human, and so very few of the opposite
Many of those movies/shows are very good and I like them but the whole time I'm feeling like it's tragic in a way. The thought of a creature giving up its otherness to assimilate into humanity is really fuckin sad to me. Or a human getting the chance to be something else freaking out and rejecting it.
Just makes me feel all the more alienated, y'know. Like "damn why don't I relate to this allegedly universal enthusiasm for being human" and "why is the desire to be anything else always wrong"
