Um...This is the most adorable thing I've seen in my life. It's like the owl was always there and the tree just grew around him. How cozy does that look!

It's awesome to see the beginnings of beautiful works. 

Jesabel Nekranea is so inspiring. When I first started to combine needle felt with clay, I scoured the internet to find other artists with the same idea and similar tastes. I found this young lady and contacted her to see where she learned her skills and if she had any tutorials. She said she was self taught and that tutorials may be in the future, but int the meantime she answered all my questions. Such a lovely person and an amazing artist. 

This artist blows my mind. I hope someday to be as good as this. I think there's plastered burlap sack involved there. Not really sure what kind of clay he uses, but I'll have to look into it. It's truly stunning work.
