i genuinely think those who are shouting about ot7 in THEIR FACES are fans that have never experienced kpop in its early days because real ones know that when a member leaves they’re never coming back and granted yes you’d feel the shock and esp if there’s no proper goodbye, but that does not without more entitle you to TERRORISE the members who are left and who strive to continue making music to those who appreciate them.

ot7 fans aren’t for ot7 they clearly don’t care about the 6 members that are left. and no i do not think jungwon or the other members have even said enough. why do you infantilize grown men who clearly are trying to keep yall in line and address the disrespect?

not only is jungwon one of the youngest members in the group he became leader when he was a minor and dare i say carried his group with absolute dignity… just for you guys to be salty that a member has left (who is also clearly doing well on his own).

no you guys don’t care about heeseung nor enhypen you guys just can’t accept that things aren’t going your way.

saw an analogy on TikTok about how people always give single mothers flack but not the deadbeat father and not saying heeseung is deadbeat but it’s been established he chose to leave multiple times with MULTIPLE LETTERS. bear in mind hee has now got a whole separate career he didn’t vanish. and bear in mind we don’t KNOW what goes on behind CLOSED DOORS.

“he didn’t even bother mentioning his name” because that’s his mf colleague under the same company. he’s not dumb enough to say anything just for you guys to take things out of context to antagonise him/the group OR heeseung. instead he’s choosing to address yall RUDE mfs. yall underestimating how mature jungwon is and are ONLY concerned with your OWN feelings.

i know some fans out there still think they’re entitled to closure but things have passed and you have to accept that you can’t be getting what you want anymore and that is the reality. you got what any fan would’ve gotten, you’re not entitled to know anything that’s private.

Jay went on stage and said "Enhypen is 6" in Spanish looking visibly frustrated and people still won't listen.

They will "still keep fighting for OT7". They will still "keep boycotting". They will still continue to ignore what the members have to say just to feed their own delusions.

I've seen videos and comments about how they don't understand why the members are being so mean and how they didn't realize that they were hurting the members. This is crazy to me because that's like saying "I was just trying to end their career a little bit through petty fights and boycotting their livelihood under the guise of 'protecting them', I wonder why they're a bit upset about that 🧐🥺?". I've also seen people say that Jay was forced to say it because he looked upset. God forbid someone be serious in a serious situation. Like how dare he show any emotion other than giddy, jump-up-in-joy happiness while emphasizing something to people who don't want to listen to him. It's like scolding a toddler who wants 7 pieces of chocolate when you only have 6. You keep telling them there's only 6 and it's still good chocolate and yet they won't stop screaming and throwing a tantrum about how they MUST have the 7 pieces of chocolate or nothing. If I was Jay (or any of the members) in that situation, I would be upset too. I don't understand why people still refuse to acknowledge that they are the ones causing problems and that they need to stop.

Also just because the members were smiling in Brazil doesn't mean they were happy with the fanchant. They are professionals and they can't stop a performance just to tell people to do the OT6 fanchant. The fact that they have to play a "game" where they TEACH us the fanchant is crazy to me. Like that just shows us how much they are trying to move on and that we need to accept it. For them.

If you claim to love the members, listen to their words. Not what you want to hear.

Now I wanted to keep them separate instead of adding on because I feel like this is the one i will more than likely get hate on. Enhypen and Heeseung don’t owe us anything. We were given a statement which in so many words was Heeseung left because he wanted something different, which was his solo career. I feel like it is safe to assume this means contract negotiations have already started and that is what he decided was best for him and his career. They gave us a statement and I feel like that is what so many people are missing. Everyone was so wrapped up in the notion of he was forced out and that this statement is not what people wanted to hear. We again do not went on behind the scenes and while I am nosy I have accepted the fact that we might never know and maybe that is for the better. Because what happens when you are given the full picture and you don’t like it, what happens if there is animosity or resentment. What happens if it is just what the original statement and letter said that he just wanted to go a different direction. Babe people change their minds. What if this allows him the flexibility to live how he wants. There are so many possibilities as to why he left and we were given one why isn’t that enough?
