Side A: conformitygate isn’t real, byler isn’t real, foah was pr, Noah wasn’t there bc of the gay jokes, Finn is exploiting the queer community by not disclosing his sexuality so he can benefit from both sides/parodying a gay man to mock byler shippers, Finn/caleb/gaten/SNL are sell outs and don’t care about the implications of hurting Noah/noah’s fans/queer community. This results in a complacent GA that can’t/won’t see the bigger picture and think fans that are offended are thinking too “deep” into it, bc GA/non conformity gate believers are not the butt of the joke in this version: SNL is “playing into the delusions of bylers and the conformitygate believers that think they’ll get an episode of Mike looking for el (again, they can’t fathom that, let alone Byler) so they think they were right and it’s funny bc they’re not the delusional ones. They’re taking this as further confirmation that CG isn’t real bc of how SNL depicted the absurdity of ep 9 mileven centric version (the only version they could see the potential of.)
Side B: conformitygate is real, byler is real, foah is real, Noah is informed of all of this and kept away to play into the meta narrative of Noah/ will disappearing from our memories. SNL was mocking the GA with the low hanging fruit gay/misogynistic jokes, podcast bro skit, Finn playing a gay character every skit, showing his gayness to soft launch foah/his own sexuality and byler, the clues in the SNL episode ab CG, GA agreeing that Finn is gay and admitting this is the gayest SNL episode they’ve ever seen and it’s so funny because haha gay, mocking the version of CG where mike is straight and looks for el in Iceland in a secret ep 9. Side B is engineered to result in angry byler/queer fans/ people who don’t like the heteronormative jokes ab women’s parts/ “people who look too deep into everything” but the GA is satisfied and again thinking that we’re looking too much into it, not realizing they’re the real butt of the joke: not realizing Mike is queer coded and gay asf by the time he and Will will be making out in the rain in new eps, realizing that SNL was depicting queer coded characters named Mike/micha etc, and other plain gay characters including Mike wheeler all played by Finn wasn’t intended to make fun of Bylers, but to spoon feed them gay Finn, gay Mike, no ep 9 with mileven. They will be bamboozled when new eps come out.
