Trump supporters who were endorsing the January 6th protest in D.C just a few hours and days ago, are now backtracking and blaming antifa for the actions of people in MAGA hats, QAnon shirts, and those waving Trump flags. Despite Proud Boys openly declaring attendance and plans to dress as antifascists, despite videos and photos of known Trump supporters in attendance, people who know no better are dismissing the violence as antifa infiltration.
