I present my makeup interpretation of The Snow Queen/Elsa. I knew I wanted this look to be more dramatic than most of my other interpretations because of the nature of The Snow Queen. She’s described as being quite “cold-hearted” and unfeeling, so I wanted quite a pointed, almost pixie-like look. I contoured and highlighted like crazy. She needed a frosted appearance so I used concealer on my lashes, waterline and outside my lips. I used a lot of white and shimmery highlighter too to seem like she was almost dewy. Finally, for the frozen effect, I used different shades of blue to make her seem almost dead. As you can tell, I went a little less Disney Elsa and a little more Hans Christian Andersen’s Snow Queen. It wasn’t as pointed and contoured as I would have wanted and it was hard to get the lighting right, but I’m very happy with the frost effect. #disneymakeuplook #thesnowqueen #hanschristianandersen #disney #elsa #frozen #makeup

For Christmas, my big sis @sarzwhit gave me the best gift in the world - a personalised necklace of my darling girl Lucy who I lost to cancer 6 and a half years ago. I'm the happiest girl in the world today. My Nanna and Pop came to stay in Hamilton and visit me. I was so touched and absolutely loved spending the day with them 👴🏼👵🏻👩🏼💚 (at Hamilton, Victoria)

I stare at my love and I feel lucky. I feel content. And yet I feel scared. I fear of a love less than intense. If I’m not burning with passion, I grow a superstition that I’ll lose him forever. Yet I know this is the way love is. And it’s okay. Love can be mutual and unspoken. It’s written in the air when I’m lying on the couch daydreaming, unaware that he’s looking up beneficial foods for our guinea pigs. It’s grown in the stems of the little daisy bouquet he hand picked for me and handed over whilst I was showering. It’s baked in the warm jam toast he made for me when we were both sick. And it is just as prevalent when I hold his hand when utter terror takes him as his fever skyrockets. Love is painful when fear is shared yet it’s breathtaking with every new day and every warm caress.

My love has the flu. My heart aches to see him suffer. This was taken between racing from the heater to the fan and back again and then racing to the bathroom to be sick.

This is Sky's girl. I had some serious competition when coming into this household. Rosie claimed Sky from the beginning and took a while to warm up to me. For some reason, it was important to me to show her I meant no ill will and I wasn't going to split them up. I think it's safe to say we're on good terms now. She's adorable 😽💚 #mouthfulloffur

My makeup interpretation of Merida from Brave. The filters REALLY helped with this look as the selection of makeup I have didn't quite reach the goal I had in mind but I got pretty close. Since Merida is a natural red head so despite my obviously short, straight, blonde hair, I tried my best to achieve this feat. I used concealer, gold and light brown eyeshadow on the lashes and brows to make them fair and blonde. I went crazy with the freckles which I created with a brown pencil. Finally, Merida is quite rosy so I used lots of blush and finished the look with a lip stain. #merida #brave #disney #disneymakeuplook #makeup
