I’ve made a lot of mistakes in life but I have to remember I was just doing the best I could at the time, considering the situation I was in, and it wasn’t always possible to know or make the ‘right’ choice

Maybe it’s time to forgive yourself for the things you did when you were trying to survive. Maybe it’s time to forgive yourself for the mistakes you made when you were trying to heal. You don’t deserve to keep punishing yourself.
