I am, like, a long running proponent of the "eat something and you'll feel better" crowd and am often one of the first people to suggest "maybe it's time for a snack before I get whipped into a frenzy" but I really do resent how instantaneous it is. like it'll feel like I'm having my worst day in months and then I'll start eating and literally before I even finish I'm like oh yeah the world is beautiful

the way so many men seem to resent having to get to know the women they’re dating and almost seem to take pride in not knowing basic information about them like eye color or their birthday, because it’s cool to them to not care about women. i just can’t make sense of it. imagine having the opportunity to get to know a woman. a woman you’re physically attracted to who also wants you back and you’re annoyed???? death sentence idc i don’t even feel that way about people i find repugnant there’s still a mild curiosity
