The day and night of my desk

Don't you see it? Don't you feel it? When you breath in the air. When you sink your toes in the sand or dirt. When you reach the top of that hill or mountain. When you sit back to see the colors in the sky change because of the setting or rising sun. When you feel the bark of a tree as you pass it by. When the water from a waterfall washes over your body. When the butterflies flit past you as they search for flowers. When the earth worms and insects make their way across the earth. When a person close to your heart gives you a meaningful hug. It is when you experience the different human emotions by being a part of this universe. Everything is alive and you are alive. It is magical.

Even if you do not reply, I will share. Even if all that was said before is an empty memory, I will still put effort into this. Maybe I make it worse. I will still go on feeling. It is not love, but rather a human experience of simply feeling. Maybe it is love. Not the soul depth, but one that is universal. I no longer believe there is “the one”. There are many different loves to be had. Just as there is no one sadness, there is no “one” love. I do get put down after making mistakes, I think after being so wrong, I will never be right. It is wrong. There is so many different kinds of love to be felt. I will be fine. I wish to let go on command.

There was a storm going on when i decided to go. The rain came down hard and it was hard to see the highway. I ended up on a backroad and the sun was long gone into the night. Just blackness on the left and on the right. Earlier in the drive i found that my thoughts had wandered onto that of death. That when my time was over, i would hope for it to be painless. Now i found myself on a road of nothingness. Have i been granted my wish to soon? It was as though I was on a road in the middle of the universe. Just a road floating weightlessly while I coasted on it. There was nothing good nor bad. I was in an in-between. The place where the indifferent go, maybe. It was a drive into a climactic anti-climax.
