Welcome to the Wheel of Webcomics, a community of comic creators and enjoyers!
About the Community:
The indie comic scene is a vast and intimidating place where it can be easy to feel like you’re shouting into the void. Support from others–creators and readers alike–helps comic creators to keep pushing forward with their work. That’s why we run a bi-weekly book club! Our main focus as a community is to get people to read, support, and promote more comics.
Come read something new with us over on the Discord and check out our library of things we’ve read so far!

Chazz/DrowZs (He/Him) (Link Tree):
Hi! I'm Chazz/DrowZs. I'm the lead writer on the urban fantasy adventure comic One Time Taxes. I'm a huge fan of weird, experimental stories. Comics that bend genre and format in ways that only comics as a medium can! Especially if they're from marginalized people who don't frequently get the opportunity to tell the stories in their minds.
I started Wheel of Webcomics largely because I'm frustrated with the speed of the internet. I spent a few years promoting and selling copies of One Time Taxes at conventions and fighting game tournaments and I got a lot of joy from not only sharing my comic with others, but hearing other people's ideas and interacting with them. I've made a great deal of lifelong friends that way and I sincerely suggest it to pretty much anyone. That type of thing doesn't really happen online, everyone's attention is stretched so thin these days and there are so many talented people all brawling for the same place on your feed.
I see comics as a collaborative medium - they need people to make them and they need readers to help them survive. Every single one of them is a miracle! However, the big wall that is marketing has added this adversarial air to the entire process. Wheel of Webcomics is my way of trying to contribute to a kinder world where smaller comics are shared and supported. Hope you stick around! 🙂
Elöise/RG (she/her) (@raccoon-girl):
Howdy! I'm Elöise, I make a teen superhero dramedy comic Raccoon Girl. I love reading and creating comics! Any genre is good for me and I'm happy to add more to my mental library >:]
Reese/Viv (they/them) (@wthicomic): Hey! I’m Reese, and I make the fantasy/drama/adventure comic Where the Heart Is. I’m a fan of fantasy comics in particular, but I love reading about just about anything, especially if the creator(s) take risks and experiment with their story and artwork! That’s part of what draws me to indie comics: there’s such a wide range of stories, viewpoints, and skill levels. There’s always something to be learned from each other.
