So here's an interesting album... What's interesting about it? Well what's the most interesting to me is that it's the first hip hop album to come out of predominately punk and ska label Quote Unquote Records. And you know what? It's pretty damn good! If you know me you probably know about Quote Unquote by now, but in case you're new here, here's the deal: Quote Unquote is a completely not-for-profit label. What does that mean? FREE MUSIC! So you can go ahead and click the link above to get this album completely free of charge, hooray!
I must be honest in saying that I haven't even completely listened to this album all the way through yet (I'm on the second to last song currently on my first listen), but it's pretty dang good from what I have heard! And I just know I'm going to be bumping it in the future. There's a very unique quality that I can't quite place. It sounds similar to some other artists I listen to, but it's definitely different enough to stand on its own in my mind. All in all it's just a very fun listen, so why not give it a chance?
