WHAT'S GOOD JAMIE?

This is the Don't Even Go There at OEB Breakfast Co. which is a Crepe dish. French style crêpe, vanilla custard, berries, banana, fresh whipped cream, pistachios & almonds, Quebec maple syrup.

Now I'm not the biggest fan of nuts in my food so I got it without them but overall it was lovely, light, and wasn't overly sugary. I didn't end up using the syrup, mainly because I forgot haha but I gave it a taste at the end and the syrup itself was nice, subtle and relatively thick but not too thick.

The dish itself is $19 which I think is a bit pricey for what you get. I'd say you could replicate the dish pretty easily, I think the reason why it's that price is that the whipped cream was made in house and the syrup was also slightly high end but nothing special was done with the berries (the berries today were strawberry and blueberry) and I didn't really notice the vanilla custard, I honestly forgot until I read the menu again, but that being said, it was delicious. I definitely recommend getting this over their "Belgian Waffle". If you're a crepe kind of person you'll definitely be satisfied with this. Would I get it again, If I was craving crepes I would but I think if they shaved off a dollar or two, it would firm up that decision.

This is the Crispy Chicken Jalapeno Burger at Brewhall. The toppings really made this burger, there's a bit of sweetness which was a great contrast with the spice and the pickled jalapenos were really nice as well. for someone who can't handle spice that well, it was mild with a slight kick. The crispy chicken on the other hand was nothing special. Definitely couldn't stand on its own. I would describe the flavour as deep fried shake 'n bake watered down. The texture was great don't get me wrong but not enough flavour to complement it. Overall, good burger, curly fries were perfect, I'd order it again for sure.
