With tumblr being the way it is it can be easy to come across some discourse that you don’t understand, only to find the tags full of post by people that apparently do. This is an experimental blog designed to give you the information on the issue, so that you can hopefully form your own opinions. - I will try to be, factual and unopinionated. - If you notice that I have made a mistake or been misinformed please correct me, preferably via reblog so as many people as possible can see the correction. - If I have missed anything on an issue I have covered please let me know. - I don’t know how much time or effort I can put into this blog, if I miss anything I apologise. - Please let me know if you need anything tagged.

The rapper XXXTentacion was a rapper who was shot and killed in a drive by shooting in Florida on the 18th of June 2018 aged 20.

Due to his record of assault, robbery and sexual assault (in one case against his pregnant girlfriend) some people are celebrating his death. Others are not as they feel that murder and gun crime are not something to celebrate regardless of who the victim is.

Kanye West has recently made several tweets seeming to show support for Donald Trump. The first of these were tweeted at 5:50pm on the 25th of April saying the following:

‘You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.’

Later that day (6:20pm) he tweeted:

‘my wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don't agree with everything Trump does. I don't agree 100% with anyone but myself.’

Finally (at 8:33pm) Donald Trump responded with:

‘Thank you Kanye, very cool!’

And five minutes later Kanye posted a picture of a signed Make America Great Again hat with the caption:

‘my MAGA hat is signed 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥’

YouTube has suspended all advertising on Logan Paul’s channel for the second time, due to a video he released where he tasered two dead rats and removed a live fish from water and “performed CPR” on it.

As this video is considered both harmful and upsetting many people have strong issues with Logan Paul, particularly because this video was released less than a week after his recent return to YouTube following the backlash he received after videoing a dead body in the Japanese Suicide forest while behaving in a generally distasteful manner.

Many people have issue with rcdart’s art due to the fact that a lot of it appears to be quite racist/transphobic. In their later work most of the poc are given very exaggerated, stereotypical features and are generally shorter, squatter and hairier than their white counterparts. A lot of trans people are drawn with extremely exaggerated bodies when compared with rcdart’s drawings of cis people. Many people see this to be a continuous move by the artist rather than a lack of knowledge or skill, due to the difference between these drawings and their older art.
