Barrow Wight, Lord of The Rings The bright greys/whites that I used on the banshee, I had first tested on this Barrow Whight.

The scythe blade was missing from this metal miniature, so I replaced it with one from the warhammer plastic zombie kit.

Classic metal sculpt, I decided not to go for the blue/green “ectoplasm” glows that are in fashion these days, but instead use whites and greys, for a more “classic” look. The red hair was inspired by Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak.

Cairn Wraith
another one, made with the plastic necromancer kit, greenstuff, a skull, and an unidentified metal bit for a scythe.
(I find the plastic necromancer quite bland compared to previously released sculpts, but the robes meant that he could be turned into a Wraith easily).
With this model I also learned that one can use Lahmian Medium to get rid of varnish frosting!

I always wanted to paint this model, and when I finally decided, I was watching Castlevania by Warren Ellis and got influenced by Alucard and Dracula. This model did not need converting, just the correct colour choices to become a Creature of the Night.

Classic Plastic Giant Bat!
From an old box with critters and a Minotaur!
The bat is ok, but I feel especially satisfied by the base. It conveys the melancholic "some time in the past humans were here, but now they're long gone" feel, a landscape perfect for my undead.
Sir Edward T. Head, undead zombie warrior AKA Krieg the Relentless, from Descent: Road to Legend Lieutenants Modified with Warhammer fantasy weapons, Sir Edward is ready to fight in the Re-Animator's Army of Darkness! With a head sculpted like that, the Iron Maiden reference was obligatory...
But what is this!? A Ghoul! Of the GW, metal variety!
The Re-Animator may have not been posting enough, but he managed to do some work it seems!
Straight out of the box, I love these guys because they are perfect to experiment with skin tones. A lot of full moons ago, I had converted some as rotters for my Nurgle Blood Bowl team.
The Re-Animator’s Army of Darkness is a thing that still exists! Now I am not much of a WIP person, but this post is proof of life (or better, undeath).
Mr Krieg the Relentless from the Descent boardgame has become another pawn at the hands of the Re-Animator. He has gained a new left arm with a GW skeleton shield as I did not like the supposedly decomposing armless original. And a new weapon from the GW zombies, cause the original one was very poorly sculpted. Now, paint awaits!

The Nosferatu Gate!
From Paizo’s Dark Elf Sanctum, I based and painted it as a scenic element/objective marker for the Re-Animator’s Army of Darkness.
EDIT: Now with 100% more color correction!
A ghoul!
The newest addition to the Re-Animator’s Army of Darkness, and originally part of Mantic’s Dungeon Saga undead box.
I tried some new colours and combinations on the skintones, and I chose him because the mini has few elements to paint while the amount and depth of the detail is more than satisfactory.
