Cassian gets a hug as they’re flying.

Mor gets a hug when they land.

Amren has a little moment with Feyre.

And then Rhys shows up.

..but Az is just kind of lost in the shuffle of the day.

Chapter 8

Summary: Inspired by the series Friday Night Lights. In a town that is obsessed with football, a group of teenagers are glorified for what they bring to the field. But what the people of Velaris don’t realize is that there is a lot more to life than football, and it’s not always pretty.

Revolves around Cassian, Nesta, Elain, Lucien, Azriel, Morrigan, Amren, Feyre, and Rhysand.

He’s drunk.

The texts from Mor were hitting Cassian’s phone rapidly, forcing his heart to beat so quickly that he thought his chest was about to burst open. Every other minute, as Cassian sprinted down the sidewalks of Velaris, his phone lit up. He texted back, just once: I’m on my way.

And so were the police.

My husband saved the day!! I really hope that Eris gets arrested and put in prison because that’s what he deserves for PUNCHING Mor like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DUDE YOU REALIZE EVERYONE HATES YOU AND YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE PIECE OF SHIT RIGHT????

Ugh I’m just so happy that Cassian called the cops and finally put a stop to this because Mor wasn’t and it needed to be done. Also, friendship goals like he is such an amazing friend to everyone and he’s already a father figure so when he has his own kid (*cough* with nesta *cough*) he’s going to be father of the year like himself in Castaway✨

UGH I’m waiting for my nessian now because omg nesta can’t be MAD! Cassian felt so bad after the look on her face and tbh THEORY:
