Taiji has been mass whaling like since Wada Chūbei Yorimoto started commercial whaling in 1606. The technique has existed in Indigenous substantial hunting since long before SeaWorld was even a thought.

While marine parks certainly contribute to the drive, they are not DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE. The Japanese argue that this is cultural, despite no longer substinance hunting.

Note: The Japanese Association of Zoos/Aquariums does not support the drive either. So maybe y’all should stop being racist like I see on every topic revolving around Japan & whales.

I was not aware that fanmail was still a thing. Do you mean Dipper though? Because Dipper died a few years ago. Another disaster added to the long list of tragedies that could’ve been avoided if colonizers didn’t play politics with lives. 

But that aside, I’m not sure what you want us to say? I’m not gonna trash Dipper, if that’s what you want. I was really excited to see Dipper grow up though, I loved him instantly. I loved his mother too.

They’re with the great spirits now, & much happier for it. If it makes you feel better, my people believe in the heavens called Kiwa-wa. Spirits only spend so long there, before they are reincarnated again.
