like if I get it right which years in world history were taken as a reference, I believe books were already printed, I found a few examples. But just can’t remember whether it is mentioned in the game, if the books we come across are handwritten or printed. And it was so emphasised that reading is uncommon there, but just. Uncommon to what point exactly…
(ok I just was thinking too much about my OC who could possibly work as a scribe, like make copies of atlases for the plague doctors team and such, but then printing becomes more common, a typography appears nearby, and she’s like WhAt ThE hEll It’S MY JOB)
