Ooc: Especially anyone who rp’s with female muses that there is a god-modding, gary/mary sue rper who gose by the url jerrodkingofendenia, well he used to now he goes by the-prototypexthe-maiden. And let me tell you, do you ever have this fear of roleplaying with characters cause they’d be bad (plotwise, writing, and just uncreative severing no purpose other then to piss people off or force themselves onto other muses), the muns would be forceful even when you said no, and constantly try to push for ideas/threads that don’t make the least bit of sense? well that’s them, now normally I don’t do things like this but no one should have to suffer this.

I have a friend who’s had to deal with shit for to long and has even become an evidence page for all their misdeeds; check it out you’ll see what I mean.

He wanted to say something comforting, but he wasnt’ sure what. What sort of things did Wendy even find comfort in? More shopping? He had no idea. But he didn’t like seeing someone he was currently responsible- and beginning to find to be pleasant company- so upset. So he twirled his unopened straw between his fingers, and…oh.

It was a longshot, but…

“Princess, have you ever done this before?” He said, smiling a bit mischievously, “My sister and I used to get extra straws just for this.” That said, he tore of just the top of the paper wrapper. Then he slid the rest down to the end of the straw like a sock and, putting the straw in his mouth, he blew.

The straw wrapper went flying off the straw like a bullet and twirled through the air comically before landing on the floor. He chuckled a bit. “If you aim well, sometimes you can hit other people. Pompom and I would have wars with each other. You should have seen dad’s face the time we accidentally hit an old woman in a neighboring booth.”

She looked back to her straw and fiddled with it for a minute, before she ripped the top of the wrapper and slid it into the straw. With the straw facing up, she carefully aimed it at Boom-Boom’s face and fired, causing the wrapper to hit the koopa square in the face before it landed on his thigh.

Boomboom very carefully ordered an item on the menu he had found that was actually affordable. It waas a simple hot chicken curry served over rice, but that was a dish his mother used to make and he wouldn’t complain about having some nice comfort food on a cold night. Thinking about the nostalgia of the dish might help alleviate some of the awkwardness from the realization that this situation with Wendy had- quite by accident- turned into somewhat a date.

He looked around though. So Wendy had eaten in here often as a child? Boomboom had never gottne a private room to himself at a restaurant before save for birthday parties, and that had been at more reasonably priced establishments when he was a little boy. But this was nice, out of the way and quiet. Despite the destructive and hectic nature of his job- possibly because of it, even- Boomboom actually preferred a peaceful environment. This was nice.

Wendy listened — not because of boredom, but she actually had some GENUINE INTEREST in Boom-Boom’s life. Being a princess, she never knew what it was like for the middle-class. They never drove gold-plated cars, they never got to splurge thousands of coins in frivolous items, and they certainly never had a family life like Wendy’s. She was CURIOUS — something that wasn’t uncommon, but to be curious of the ‘peasants’ WAS uncommon in her world filled with aristocrats and lavish parties. 

She remembered a time where her father wasn’t obsessed with kidnapping the princess and ruling the universe. Where he actually took the time to spend time with his kids. Where... SHE was still around. Wendy felt bittersweet, if only for that tiny moment. 

    “  Uh, no?  I’m from the Dark Lands. “

Wendy awkwardly readjusted her bow — Admittedly, the first thing she wanted to do was compliment on Bonnibel’s fashion sense, but she’d have to do with finding out where she was.
