Gray didnât want to hurt Wells. Maybe his boyfriend was right and they would again, maybe even more than once, over time, but he didnât want to. Even if he was new at this, relationships and love, he knew that much. The way he fell for Wells over the years, that playful, flirtatious attraction was one thing, but after they started fooling around and spending more time together, everything changed. Something shifted. He knew what he felt for Wells was different than what he had felt for anyone before him, or ever. He didnât only crave for his boyfriend physically, but just the thought of him. His company. The way Wells made him feel, the way Wells looked at him, touched him. âI know.â The actor said quietly. He knew he didnât need his fatherâs approval, that they didnât need it. It didnât change how he still sought for it, any kind of affection or acceptance from the man. But not anymore. Not when this was at stake. Him and Wells. âIâm sorry.â He whispers again, sniffling as he met his boyfriendâs tired green eyes, hands wrapping around Wellsâ wrists as he cradles his face, nodding. He needed to hear that. He needed to believe they were okay. Thatâs all that mattered, really. He was all that mattered. The smile on Wellsâ face is met with one of his own, snorting humorlessly when his boyfriend admits his head is killing him, wanting nothing but to put an ease to his pain in all its forms. A tear escapes him again then at the invitation. He still remembers how sharp Wellsâ words last night had been. I donât want to talk to you right now. How he opted for the couch instead of their bed. How he really thought that was it for them. Gray just nods, again, because heâs afraid how his voice might catch in his throat if he were to even try to speak or say anything. He just followed Wells around the room quietly with his eyes, and then to their room, their bed, finding comfort in the covers and the weight of his boyfriend next to him. It felt so big and empty the night before, so cold. Gray wrapped an arm around Wells, pulling him closer, daring to reach for that touch even if he wasnât so sure exactly where they stood in that regards, and brought him into an embrace. His eyes closed, his voice quiet as to not cause any more strain to Wellsâ headache. âI couldnât sleep last night without you here. It just didnât feel right. I dâI donât want to have to do that again, sleep apart when weâre under the same roof.â He admitted, pressing his lips against the side of his head, holding onto him. âIâll talk to you. I will. I promise.â He adds, his voice no higher than a whisper, loud enough for Wells to hear him.Â

those pain meds were very much needed right now, which is why after wells wipes at the tear that falls from his boyfriends eye, lips pressed together. they just... needed time, they needed to be together after spending the entire night apart. he doesnât say another word, he just go to get those pain pills & gets them down with a glass of water. he was so hungover, he hadnât drank that much in some time, enough to make him feel this bad come morning. what he needed to do was sleep this off, but he also just... needed his boyfriend after yesterdayâs events. he moves around the apartment swiftly, not looking behind him for confirmation because he knows gray is following him. he goes straight to their bed, to his side, pulls the covers back & moves in, lays down & lets out a quiet sigh. this was much better than the couch, especially when he feels gray slip under the covers, too after him. once gray reaches for him, holds him in his embrace, wells caves, too. he wraps an arm around his boyfriend, moving in that much closer & closing his eyes, basking in the feeling of being in his arms, being in grayâs arms, too. after the high emotions last night, this felt so... relieving, it felt like wells could breath easier, sleep better. his head immediately falls to grayâs shoulder, eyes remaining closed, too because his head is still throbbing. he appreciated when gray speaks up softly & the kiss to his head. âme either,â he breathes, adjusting his position to get more comfortable. âi shouldnât have done that... iâm sorry.â he also keeps his voice just loud enough for ray to hear him. sober wells didnât have any excuse for drunk wellsâ actions. drunk wells tended to be a bit much. angrier, petty, sarcastic, blunt... especially when he was upset & last night, maybe he was a bit unreasonably upset. âiâll talk to you, too. i couldnât be there last night, or else i probably wouldâve caused a scene & iâd already had a few... it seemed easier to leave, be alone.â but then he drank some more & wallowed in his feelings which seemingly didnât help any when he got home because he didnât want to see gray, he didnât want to interact with him, he just wanted to be home to sleep it off. he was upset. hurt. âi shouldnât have gotten so upset,â his hand runs up along grayâs side, holding him close even if he knew he wouldnât move away. âi know enough about your relationship with your dad... i shouldnât have been so surprised.â he did, he knew that grayâs relationship with his dad was a bit more fucked up than his own with his father... he shouldâve considered that gray wasnât comfortable with this, them around his father.Â
âitâs over though. weâll move on, & after i sleep off this headache, weâll go grab a bite, alright? that sound okay?â he moves to brush his nose along grayâs jaw, nuzzling against him, bringing himself all the closer, body pressed up against grayâs, no space between them. just how wells liked it. âtry to get some sleep, too.â
