My brain shut down some part of the way through if you couldn’t tell. I thought about not posting it up, but I still wanted some proof that I’m still alive and kicking if just to respond to sudden artistic sparks of motivation via sketching over official art. I may or may not clean this up whenever motivation returns, but who knows.
Anyways! With Ochako’s hero costume getting a new look, I figured I may as well give Yuu’s yet another redesign as well! The whole Valkyrie theme honestly felt like a stretch, so I was more than happy to go back to paralleling canon design. Instead of having Astral Hero: Valkyuurie (アストラルヒーロー ヴァーキュリ), we now have Cosmic Hero: Nebula (コズミックヒーロー ネビュラ). Clearly, this works much better – it not only keeps to the space theme, but also incorporates the ‘yuu’ sound as well.
