If you spend too much of your life loitering around Discogs like I do, you might have seen this strange promo version of quebec, with the tracks in a very different order.

I don't have much information, but my guess would be that this was probably an earlier "working" version of the tracklisting to give to the press before the track order was finalized. It's definitely not random, but I doubt this was ever intended to be how the final album was arranged.

Still, if you've never listened to it like this, it's interesting to notice how the different narrative structure affects they way you hear each song. I made it into a playlist if you're curious.

3. White Pepper (The Grobe, Pandy Fackler, and Falling Out are bangers)

4. 12 Golden Country Greats (yes I know, a little high but I luv it)

5. Chocolate and Cheese (gotta love it)

6. Pure Guava (Don’t Get 2 Close 2 My Fantasy is a top 10 song for me)

7. The Pod (Oh My Dear Falling in Love and Sketches of Winkle are AMAZIN’)

8. GodWeenSatan (don’t laugh I love you, lmlyp are great)

9. Shinola, Vol. 1 (Gabrielle gotta be top 20 at the least)

10. La Cucaracha (this isn’t a bad album but the others are better, but this album still holds a place in my heart for Ween)
