“Did you… Did you see that?” She’d had trouble sleeping recently, images had played upon her mind in slumber, dreams that seemed a little too real. Fatigue had slipped its fingers into her waking moments, too, it seemed, the same visions appearing when she momentarily daydreamed. Though, when she shakes her head, she quickly brings herself back to attention, smiling a little apologetically to the person at her side. “My apologies. I’m merely tired.”
He shrugged, pursing his lips. It was most likely the after effects of the stress taking its toll on everyone, including himself. “It seems that you are not the only one who is tired, I for one suspect illness as a likely cause. Perhaps you should take a day off and find some peace of mind so you need not apologize again.”
